First Birthday - Cake Smash

This little guy is friends with my little guy.  Their birthdays are two weeks apart which makes it fun.  We also joke that our kids could be in boy bands with the hair they are rocking.  He was much more reserved and clean when smashing his cake than my kid.  He liked it, but also decided he was done pretty quickly.  I can't blame him.  Eating cake is a messy business!

First Birthday - Cake Smash

It finally happened.  My baby boy turned one.  I don't know how that year went so quickly.  We are having fun everyday and this day was no exception.  He had one bite of the cake and was like, "why have I never had this deliciousness before?"  Being his mother's son, he dove into that cake and didn't stop until he was full.  He looks pretty proud of himself, don't you think?

Holiday Photos - 2 year old

Two year old Max was not so sure about having his picture taken.  I quickly learned he liked balls and cars, both of which we have plenty in our house.  After a bit of play we were able to get some fun shots.  Who wouldn't want to capture those eyes and that smile!

A medley of themes

This was a fun photo shoot.  We did a first birthday, a cake smash, a third birthday, and Christmas pictures.  I loved spending time with these kiddos. A good time was had by all, especially when it involves cake!

Holiday Photos - 3 month old

How quickly time flew!  This little baby whose newborn pics I did here is already 3 months old.  Her three month mark coincided with Christmas time so we got a few family pictures, a few holiday pictures and a few three month pictures!  She even smiled in that last photo.  A pro already.

The A Family - San Jose, Ca

This is one of my favorite families to photograph.  I've taken photos of little "A" since he was a newborn and he's my Godson, so I'm a bit biased!  They are such a cute family and they have a new baby on the way arriving in March 2013. I'm so excited!

Japanese Friendship Garden - San Jose

Sometimes when I'm looking for a new location to shoot, I bring the boys with me as test subjects.  We had such a fun time at this garden in San Jose, I had never been there before and it was beautiful.  K had a ton of fun looking at the koi fish and I got a few cute pics.  Win win.
