Woodland One-derland Birthday!

It's so fun when a baby turns one.  It's a celebration of the baby and the parents for making it through that first year.  This party was no exception.  There were a ton of really cute Woodland One-derland details.  The party was held at Lemon Tree in Santa Clara, Ca which looks like a really fun play space for young children.  Enjoy all of the amazing details!

This pretty little girl was born awhile ago, but I haven't had time to update my blog!  I was excited to see this family again since I had the chance to photograph her big sister when she was born.  She was a dream sleeper.  I love when that happens!

This was my last family for holiday photos last year.  They hold a special place in my heart because I've been photographing their daughter since she was a newborn.  This past year they bought a new house and we thought it would be fun to incorporate their new house and yard into the photos.  We even got to include Grandma and Grandpa.

I met this family through my oldest son's school.  He and their daughter became friends last year.  I was so happy to be able to take their family photos this year!

You know when you have the perfect family and the perfect setting?  That's what happened here.  This family was ready to take their pictures and our location couldn't have been prettier.  It was so nice to meet them and capture their family spirit.

It was so fun to see this family again.  They have twin boys who kept me busy during the shoot, much like my own boys.  Good thing I'm familiar with Superheroes, Star Wars and boy humor.

Now that it's January it's about time for me to post all of the holiday photos I took.   Life with 3 children is no joke!

I was excited to start my return from maternity leave with these families.  I took their holiday photos last year and have done two birthday shoots with them.  It was nice to start with some familiar faces.
