I was so excited to finally meet this little guy.  He had a very stressful first week of life being in the NICU, so when I saw him at two weeks old I was overjoyed.  He slept like a dream for me and only argued when I tried to put him in a new position.  He was a rockstar!

Family move | Santa Clara, Ca

We are so sad to see this family move.  Little "R" is friends with Kellen which is how we met.  We see them every Monday in our playgroup and our world will be a little darker without them close by.  They are moving all the way to England.  This shoot was about capturing them in front of their house before they have to put it on the market.  I had a really fun afternoon with them. Thank you!!

Baby Teagan | 6 months

Little Miss Teagan came to visit me last weekend.  I love seeing her every 3 months so I can see how she is growing.  I met her as a newborn and saw her again at Christmas time as a three month old.  Here she is at 6 months!  I've been wanting to use that bed with a baby so she made me a happy lady when she sat and posed on it for me.

Baby Juliana | 6 months

My how 6 months has flown!  I photographed this cutie when she was a brand new baby.  In one of the 6 month pictures we wanted to emulate her newborn photograph so we could see how she's grown.  I'd say she's doing a great job!  We had a lot of fun on this shoot.  6 months is one of my favorite ages because you can dress them up and they will let you and not crawl away or tear a hat off.  I wish they could stay this way forever.

Newborn Baby West

This guy was one of the bigger newborns I've worked with.  He was only a week old but 9 lbs and 5 ounces.  Way to go mom!  He was intrigued by the new surroundings and had to check it all out before he fell asleep, but once he was out he just kept sleeping.  He smiled on his first shot out of the gate!

First Birthday - Cake Smash

This little guy is friends with my little guy.  Their birthdays are two weeks apart which makes it fun.  We also joke that our kids could be in boy bands with the hair they are rocking.  He was much more reserved and clean when smashing his cake than my kid.  He liked it, but also decided he was done pretty quickly.  I can't blame him.  Eating cake is a messy business!

It finally happened.  My baby boy turned one.  I don't know how that year went so quickly.  We are having fun everyday and this day was no exception.  He had one bite of the cake and was like, "why have I never had this deliciousness before?"  Being his mother's son, he dove into that cake and didn't stop until he was full.  He looks pretty proud of himself, don't you think?
